The goal of the Publishing Project is to preserve and distribute the work of Joe Morecraft, including sermons, lectures, video, and writings. He was the founding pastor of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church in 1974 and ministered here for over 40 years. It is our desire to ensure that all of his teaching will be archived for generations to come. We need your support to continue making this project possible!
Mark...Luke...John...Galatians...The Gifts of the Holy Spirit...Biblical Blueprints.......
These are examples of the sermon series that have been preached by Joe Morecraft since the founding of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church in 1973. These series were recorded and are in storage at the church in various audio formats, including audio reels, cassette tapes, and digital files. It is estimated that reel and tape formats will have a life of only 30 years, putting these recordings at risk of being lost forever.
It is the goal of the Publishing Project to preserve these audio files by ensuring that they are digitized, cleaned, and edited. These teachings will then be available for packaging and distributing worldwide, for generations to come.
Over the past 41 years, Joe Morecraft has written a number of books and study guides on various topics. The books and study guides are in various stages of publication, from manuscript form to unproofed/unedited, to published, but in need of revision. Some of the published works use scanned files from older editions where the original documents have either been lost, or are unusable because they were prepared before the age of word processors!
It is the goal of the Publishing Project to collect manuscripts, proof, edit, layout, and publish or republish these valuable resources.
Over the years, many of Joe Morecraft’s sermons and lectures have been recorded to DVDs or other video files. The church also has broadcast quality video tapes from the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's, containing lectures from church-hosted conferences. The speakers include: Joe Morecraft, R.J. Rushdoony, Greg Bahnsen, Larry McDonald, and many others. Many of these video recordings have gathered dust in the church’s back storage room.
It is the goal of the Publishing Project to sort through the video recordings, digitize those that are on tape, and edit and package them for distribution via DVD and the Internet.
